1. To receive your BLS certification card you must complete BOTH the BLS HeartCode® online course and attend the in person Skills Testing session with an AHA instructor. These are two separate requirements.

- PLEASE NOTE: If you have previously used the American Heart Association® eLearning courses, you must use the same email you used when you created your login information on the AHA website.
- You will receive an email with a link to the online course from “eLearning.heart.org” within 12 business hours, after purchase.
- After completion of the online course, you will need to have an AHA BLS instructor provide the AHA required skills testing. The instructor who provides your skills testing will provide you with your AHA certification card.

Description
HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or on a simulation station.
This product has been updated with new science from the 2025 Guidelines for CPR and ECC and replaces the previous version. If you are a student, please confirm with your Training Center that this is the appropriate product for your training.
